Five children at least were killed and others injured, and some of the teaching personnel in Ibn Sina school were also injured by an explosion occurred this morning, Sunday 24-11-2019, in Al-Taybah village on the outskirts of Al-Mayadeen city east of Deir Ezzor, a local sources said.
The sources noted that dozens of wounded, mostly children, and five bodies of children, who were killed in the explosion, were taken to the hospitals of Mayadeen city and Deir Ezzor city center.
According to the sources, the explosion was caused by a large bomb planted in the school.
It is indicated that Al-Mayadeen city is under the control of Assad’s forces, Iranian militias and the Russian forces.
The names of the child victims:
1- The daughter of Saad Al-Abdul Hamid Al-Hussein Al-Mohammad al-Dhaher
2- The son of Abdul Karim al-Turki al-Darwish.
3- The son of Bassam Khudhair Al-Hammoud
4- The son of Nashmi al-Awad al-Khalaf Al-Flaiti
5- The son of Saleh al-Awad al-Khalaf al-Flaiti
