For more than nine hours, the time it takes for travelers to reach Damascus is to pass through 22 checkpoints, most of which are for the Fourth Division and Military Security, according to what was monitored by the DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent said that the inspection journey begins from the political checkpoint in the Pullman garage in the city of Deir ez-Zor, then you need to stand for more than an hour at the Panorama checkpoints affiliated with Rabaa and State Security, where the Pullmans stand at those checkpoints for inspection and searches at Panorama, Sokhna, Kabajib, the Palmyra checkpoint, Al-Nusairi at the Homs Junction, the Al-Furqallus checkpoint, and Abu Moles and goods, in addition to the military security checkpoints scattered on the road and two checkpoints on the main roads.
He added that these checkpoints do not accept any check from the previous checkpoint except when a bribe is paid by the driver’s companion, while the inspection includes searching for smoke, honey, and fuel.
