DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
The SDF confiscated two “Inter” trucks loaded with wheat that were heading towards Assad regime-controlled areas from the Zaghir Jazira town crossing in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, according to a DeirEzzor24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent said that the SDF stopped a number of trucks at river crossings loaded with wheat in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
He pointed out that the SDF’s goal in cutting off wheat smuggling routes to the Assad regime is to limit its supplies to the (Al-Qaterji-SDF) contract, which stipulates the purchase of a quantity of more than one million tons, and according to the available quantity at a price of $550 per ton.
It is worth noting that the Autonomous Administration had approved the price of wheat at 31 cents per kilo, or $310 per ton, subject to the grading system.
