The Raqqa Justice Department, in cooperation with the Anti-Narcotics Branch, supervised the destruction of about 200 kilograms of narcotic substances, as part of implementing legal procedures for seizures resulting from raids and security operations that were carried out during the last period.
The destroyed materials included quantities of Methamphetamine, hashish, Captagon and Capticol pills, in addition to pharmaceutical pills used for addiction, quantities of cocaine powder, in addition to some confiscated alcoholic beverages.
The concerned authorities stressed that the destruction process comes within the ongoing efforts to combat the spread of drugs, dry up their sources, and reduce their negative effects on society, which contributes to enhancing security and stability and protecting citizens from the dangers of this scourge.
