D24 exclusive:
A group of 18 elements of the Assad’s forces and the national defense militia went missing last night in the badiyah of al-Duweir village in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, according to D24 correspondent.
The correspondent added that eight elements of the missing group are elements of the national defense militia from al-Duweir village.
Our correspondent confirmed that unidentified assailants, believed to be Daesh elements, have attacked the point where the joint group of the national defense and the Assad’s forces was stationed in the badiyah of al-Duweir.
It is indicated that the Assad’s forces are occasionally subjected to sporadic attacks along the badiyah of Deir Ezzor, where Daesh has claimed responsibility of most of these attacks in earlier times.
