We are very sad to inform our followers and those interested in the updates on the situation in Deir Ezzor province that the Facebook administration has shut down our page justifying its action by saying that we have violated Facebook rules.
ISIS electronic groups take advantage of the option of reporting accounts in Facebook to spam and report any account exposing ISIS violations and atrocities in areas under its control.
This is the second time in which Facebook suspend our page. It had also closed Aleppo 24’s page for one week before it comes back to work again.
We call in Facebook administration to reverse its decision on suspending our page and it should try to avoid this gap in Facebook (reporting accounts) which many extremists are taking advantage of.
