Elements of the National Defense Militia are killed and wounded in an attack by Daesh in Deir Ezzor

Yesterday, Sunday 8-12-2019, a number of the national defense militiamen were killed and wounded in an attack carried out by assailants belong to Daesh on a military convoy of the militia in the badiyah, Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent reported.

In the details, our correspondent said, that a military commander of the National Defense Militia named (Abdul-Latif Al-Jadaan) and a number of his elements were killed yesterday in an armed attack carried out by the group’s militants when a military convoy of the militia was passing through the badiyah of Al-Shumeitiyah village in the western Deir Ezzor countryside, and other elements of the national defense militia were wounded in the same attack.

According to our correspondent, Assad’s forces and the national defense militia were on high alert after the attack.

It is indicated that Daesh cells are active in the badiyah of Deir Ezzor, and occasionally carry out armed attacks in the region.
