Last night, Sunday, an explosion rocked Ash-Shahil town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside with no reports of casualties.
According to D24 network correspondent, the explosion was caused by an IED that was placed near the public park west of Ash-Shahil city.
The correspondent confirmed that there were no casualties in the explosion, adding that it is likely that the SDF had detonated the IED before its time.
The correspondent noted that the people of Ash-Shahil city had known about the IED and reported that to the SDF who, in turn, detonated it.
It is noteworthy that Daesh cells are active in eastern Euphrates, and they plant IEDs in the cities and towns of Deir Ezzor countryside.
