Eight people from Deir Ezzor province were killed by lightning that hit Deir Ezzor yesterday, D24 network correspondent said.
According to our correspondent, three of those killed by lightning were children from Aiyash town, and their names are:
Mhaidi Salama al-Hamid
Salloom al-Hamid’s son
Omar Ali al-Salman
And two other children were also critically injured.
The deaths occurred in different areas of Deir Ezzor countryside like Aiyash, Al-Hissan, Granij and al-Khabour villages.
The correspondent confirmed that the lightning led to the burning of a number of Agricultural lands.
It is noteworthy that this is the first time that the victims of lightning in Deir Ezzor reached this number.
