Daesh Makes New Gains In Al-Bahrah Town And The Fate Of The Local Civilians Remains Unknown

In the middle of the massive mobilization by the SDF on the last strongholds of the Daesh organization in the eastern suburb of Deir Ezzor (Hajin, Soussah and Ash-sHAFAH) and the corresponding mobilization and readiness by the Da’id fighters, surprised a group of fighters urging the people of the town of Bahra and parts of the town of Granje The control of the Kdd in the streets of the towns mentioned. Daesh captured today several parts of Al-Bahrah town in east of Deir Ezzor following heavy clashes against the SDF.

According to a D24 correspondent, ‘Daesh fighters took advantage of foggy weather in the province and attacked SDF positions in the Bahrah town, leading to the killing and wounding of a number of fighters.”

On the other hand, the Coalition carried out several strikes on the Daesh positions in the Bahrah town east of Deir Ezzor, without reports of casulaties.

Thousands of civilians are now besieged inside the town, bearing in mind that several of them have been wounded due to the ongoing clashes between the two parties.

By advancing to the Bahrah town, Daesh are now on the outskirts of Granij town in the Shaitat area east of Deir Ezzor.
