Daesh attacked outposts in the al-Shula area, southern Deir Ezzor, killing a member of the Assad forces’ 17th Division called Marwan al-Taseer and injuring other members and National Defense (ND) militia fighters.

Daesh attacked the 17th Division outposts in al-Shula and clashed with its members who requested reinforcements by the ND militia. Daesh killed a member of the division, injured others, and burnt an ND pick up vehicle.

Daesh is significantly active in the al-Shula area in the southern Deir Ezzor badiya. Daesh constantly attacks the Assad forces’ and militias’ outposts in the area.
