Today, Friday 6-12-2019, groups of Daesh operatives attacked two checkpoints of the Syrian democratic forces “SDF” in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent said.
In the details, our correspondent said that groups of Daesh elements riding motorcycles, attacked at one time two checkpoints of the SDF in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, where the first attack targeted a checkpoint between Diban and Al-Hawayej towns, and the second one targeted a checkpoint on the outskirts of Ash-Shahil town.
The two attacks coincided with the explosion of a motorcycle at al-Qahawi junction in Abu Hamam town in Al-Shaitat area, east of Deir Ezzor, local sources said.
Two days ago, gunmen also attacked a checkpoint of the SDF in al-Bussaira in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
It is noteworthy that Daesh has intensified its terrorist acts and assassinations in Deir Ezzor countryside over the past three days despite the successive campaigns carried out by the international coalition and the SDF against the organization and its cells in the region.
