Deir Ezzor Water Corporation continues to carry out emergency maintenance work on water stations in Al Jazeera areas, as part of a project funded by the “Furat” program and with support from the US State Department, with the aim of enhancing service stability and raising the efficiency of stations in the region.
The Corporation explained that it had completed the first phase of the project, which included the maintenance of the eastern Al-Shehail, Al-Bu Badran, and Hawama stations, while the work of the second phase, which includes the western Al-Shehail, Al-Zer, Al-Shabaka, Theban, and Abu Hamam stations, is currently continuing.
Maintenance work includes repairing technical faults and improving the readiness of equipment to ensure the continuity of water pumping and improving the level of service provided to residents.
The Corporation confirmed the continuation of maintenance work during the coming period to include the rest of the stations included in its plan, which will contribute to meeting the needs of residents and enhancing the stability of water services in the area.
