On Tuesday, January 17, Assad’s warplanes carried out airstrikes on the Omal neighborhood, casing 5 civilians casualties and the wounding of others.
A D24 correspondent said that, “ The air raids targeted civilian-owned homes inside the neighborhood, leading to the death of 5 civilians, including two children and two men, in addition to the injury of several others who were transported to neighboring hospitals for medical treatement.”
Noteworthy, the Russian and Assad regime warplanes have intensified the airstrikes on the neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor city and the front lines against Daesh south and west of the city.
