A source told Deir Ezzor 24 network that Assad regime’s security branches have launched a campaign of arrests this morning against Liwaa Al-Quds militia members who are in the age of compulsory service.
Since early morning, the criminal security service has conducted intensive patrols in Deir Ezzor city’s neighborhoods, in addition to joint patrols carried out by a number of security branches, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent added that the patrols searched for people wanted for compulsory service among passers-by, including civilians and militiamen.
Assad regime carried out these arrests against militiamen following an agreement with the Revolutionary Guard militia (IRGC) to enlist members of the militia in Assad’s forces’ ranks.
