The phenomenon of carrying weapons and firing bullets by gunmen and civilians has recently spread in the city of Deir Ezzor, according to a reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.

Our reporter said that this phenomenon spread after the fall of the Assad regime’s security branches in Deir Ezzor, as a result of civilians taking control of weapons depots in the city, and the sale of their weapons at cheap prices by elements and leaders of the Iranian-backed militias to civilians in all areas.

It is worth noting that a large number of residents acquired weapons out of fear of Daesh cells, or armed robbery operations carried out by theft gangs..
