A source told the Deir Ezzor 24 that on Monday, April 5, 2021, a vehicle of the Liwaa al-Quds militia exploded, killing a fighter and injuring three others in the Deir Ezzor badiya.
The source added that the vehicle was escorting a truck transporting workers to search for truffles in favor of the militia, when a Russian warplane bombed it by mistake.
The injured fighters were transported to the Deir Ezzor Military Hospital; however, the workers returned to the city of Deir Ezzor.
