Russian forces suspend recent military operation in Deir Ezzor

The Russian Military Commandership suspended the recent military operation against posts in the western Deir Ezzor countryside badiya.

A well informed source told Deir Ezzor 24 Netowrk that the Russians suspended the operation due to casualities and material loss over the recent days due to landmines explosions in al-badiya.

The source noted that Russian forces established posts in al-badiya for militias and affiliated groups such as the al-Quds Liwaa militia and the 5th Corps.

Wide-spread landmines explosions killed ten fighters of militias participating in the operation in al-badiya.
