On Monday, the Assad militias stole stones, which were supposed to be used for paving the pavements of the streets of Hasan al-Taha and Sitta Ila Rubu in the city of Deir Ezzor. The Assad regime was supposed to rehabilitate the pavements to facilitate civilians’ return to the city center.
The Assad militias are supposed to guard these materials, as similar incidents are frequent in the area. The residents accuse Assad forces’ officers of stealing and selling their materials.
The Assad militias loot materials in the neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor like doors, windows, and solar power panels. Such violations destabilize the area.
