The Military Operations Department in Deir Ezzor has begun pursuing drug dealers who worked with the Iranian-backed militias and the National Defense Militia, according to a reporter of the DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our reporter said that the Military Operations Department carried out a raid campaign in Al-Joura neighborhood and the entrance to Al-Wadi Street in Deir Ezzor city last night, and arrested a number of drug dealers and traffickers.
This operation comes after demands from residents to pursue militia members and hold accountable those who impersonate the Military Operations Department to carry out thefts in the city.
