The Assad-regime has intensified the air strikes on several areas in Deir Ezzor, in connection with heavily shelling areas held by Daesh in the city and villages located along the banks of the Euphrates River, using the artillery positioned on the mountain overlooking the city.
Today, a civilian named Hamada Al-Jada’ was killed and several others were wounded by regime air strikes on the village of Jadid Akidat, eastern rural Deir Ezzor. The field hospital in the village sustained partial damage.
The Bassirah Bridge and civilian homes near it were badly damaged after being targeted by air raids today, with no reports of civilian casualties.
In other news, Assad forces shelled Daesh-controlled neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor city with heavy artillery. The shelling was mainly concentrated on Sheikh Yassin, Al-Humeidiyah and Al-Huwayqa.
