The DeirEzzor24 network, through its correspondents, monitored a large spread of stray dogs in the neighborhoods of the city of Deir Ezzor and an increase in their numbers despite the city council’s campaigns to eliminate them.
The DeirEzzor24 network reporter said that it has been observed that there has been an increase in visits to hospitals for those infected with dog bites, amid fear of rabies viruses from infected dogs, which abound in garbage containers and abandoned neighborhoods that prevent people from passing at night with darkness and power outages.
The Harabesh neighborhood, east of the city of Deir Ezzor, is considered the most dangerous due to the large spread of stray dogs, especially between the roundabout area and the development building.
