A DeirEzzor24 network reporter stated today that a group of thieves and gangs are practising their activities at night while dressed in civilian clothes, noting that these groups are composed of armed men. They operate daily in the Al-Huwayqa neighborhood in the city of Deir Ezzor, especially near the Baath Bridge.
Our reporter added that the gang is giving the people their money and mobile phones in addition to their motorcycles, and the people have been confirmed that there is no military patrol in the place if they assume any security status.
It is noteworthy that many complaints from the people have reached Assad regime officials regarding this gang, which the people say is affiliated with an armed militia, but so far the problem has not been solved or even the gang’s location has been raided.
