The Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia established new points around the Al-Ward oil field in the Al-Bukamal desert, east of Deir Ezzor Governorate, according to a Deir Ezzor24 network reporter.
Our reporter said that the militia prevented vehicles from entering the field under the orders of Hajj Malik, the military commander of the region.
He added that the new measures were carried out based on intelligence information from the Revolutionary Guard militia about the possibility of armed men infiltrating the field from the direction of the town of Al-Duwair, which Hajj Malik accuses of being a starting and transit hub for carrying out operations against the Iranian-backed militias.
These measures come after the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia built observation towers at its points spread throughout the desert.
