Over the past days, many members of the national defense militia (NDF) fled to northern Syria, a source told Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
According to the source, the members deserted their militia after the NDF Militia forced a number of members to sign contracts to go to Libya and fight alongside Haftar militia. The contracts obligate no party to pay the salaries of those who are killed there.
The contracts also prevent the members from joining any military (militia) other than the NDF.
A large number of members who were moved to Libya by the Russian forces were deceived with regard to the salaries they were promised of.
This is the first time that members were forced to go to Libya, which pushed many members of the NDF to escape to northern Syria, Turkey and Lebanon.
