The al-Beaa (Environment) bread bakery has stopped working for three days, adding to the burdens and crises civilians face in the neighborhoods of al-Qusoor and al-Deir al-Atiq, and the Officers’ Club street in the city of Deir Ezzor.
Given that, the residents of the area resorted to al-Tanoor bread bakeries as an alternative choice; however the price of this kind of bread increased to 175 Syrian pounds per loaf due to the Assad regime’s increasing prices of diesel and flour which made providing bread so difficult.
The Assad regime’s security services preserve chaos and instability on purpose in the Deir Ezzor governorate , ignoring residents’ demands, and neglecting their complaints.
