General Security carried out a campaign of raids that included several homes of members of Assad’s forces and affiliated militias in the city of Al-Mayadeen in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, according to activists.
Activists said that the campaign resulted in the arrest of “Ahmed Al-Khalouf”, known for his work for the Iranian-backed militias, in addition to “Hamza Al-Alyan” and a person known as “Abu Al-Suda” affiliated with the National Defense Militia led by the so-called “Abu Ayham”.
The General Security in Deir Ezzor began a campaign in several areas to pursue remnants of the Assad regime, the Iranian-backed militias and the National Defense Militia, after the end of the settlement deadline granted.
