The streets of Raqqa are witnessing the spread of a large number of open and unsealed electricity boxes, which poses a real danger to the safety of residents, especially children.
These boxes are spread in several neighborhoods, on sidewalks and public roads, without covers or protective measures, which increases the possibility of electric shock accidents, especially when children approach them while playing or passersby pass by them.
A number of residents called on the electricity company in Raqqa Governorate to intervene urgently to address this problem, and to work to close, secure and maintain electrical boxes completely, in order to preserve the safety of residents and reduce potential risks in public places.
