The SDF and the Deir Ezzor Military Council captured on Friday the Hawi Abu Hamam area in eastern Deir Ezzor following heavy clashes against Daesh. The capture of the area was heavily backed by coalition airstrikes.
In other news, clashes broke out between the SDF and Daesh on the outskirts of the Suwaydan and Darnaj towns in eastern Deir Ezzour amidst an increase in the waves of displacement in the region. In addition, several Daesh fighters were killed in coalition strikes on the Granij town in the east of Deir Ezzor. The coalition also carried out airstrikes against Daesh positions in the Hajin town in connection with heavy clashes between both parties on the outskirts of the Abu Hamam and the Kashkiyah towns.
