A source told Deir Ezzor 24 network that yesterday, Friday, the Russian forces in Deir Ezzor transferred 35 young men from al-Mayadeen city to one of its bases in the city to be transferred later to Libya.
The source noted that the Russian forces opened the door up to volunteering in Deir Ezzor, for the people of the province to fight with Haftar’s forces in Libya.
The source pointed out that the Russian forces set a large monthly salary (up to $2000) for the volunteers, which is considered to be a financial temptations for the young men to join their ranks and turn to mercenaries fighting with Haftar.
It is indicated that this incident is the first of its kind, as the Russian forces have never recruited people from Deir Ezzor to fight out of Syria before.
