The Revolutionary Guards militia arrested members of two of its points in the town of Al-Suway’iyah on the river opposite the SDF areas in the Al-Bukamal countryside east of Deir Ezzor, according to what the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network reported.
Our correspondent said that the reason for this sudden arrest is that the members of these points work in smuggling for their own benefit and without referring to the leadership of the Revolutionary Guards militia, at a time when the leadership of the militia is trying to tighten its control over all smuggling routes in the region.
He added that the militia has sorted out new members to replace the members it arrested at the Al-Suway’iyah points.
It is noteworthy that the militia activity in the region has returned to human smuggling operations from Albukamal to Iraq through the Popular Mobilization militia for $10,000 per person, regardless of his security status, as those who want to cross into Iraq are gathered in houses in the village of Al-Hari and transported in batches.
