death from Coronavirus (Covid 19) in Deir Ezzor.
According to the sources, yesterday, Friday 13-3-2020, Abeer Mohammed Al-Salem, a woman from Deir Ezzor died in Al-Assad Hospital from Covid 19.
The sources noted that “Abeer,” who is an old woman, was taken to Al-Assad Hospital a few days ago after she felt ill, but the doctors found that she was infected with Covid 19, but the whole incident was covered up by Assad regime.
In the same context, a young man from Al-Kasrah area in the western Deir Ezzor countryside was also infected with the virus. It was found that he had traveled to Damascus a few days ago to receive treatment for an illness in Tishreen hospital, where he got the infection and was quarantined in the same hospital, according to a person close to him.
The sources also indicated that a number of leaders and officers of Assad forces in Deir Ezzor have ordered their elements not to shake hands with any member of the Revolutionary Guard militia, and to avoid entering their headquarters, or mixing with them.
It is noteworthy that Deir Ezzor is the most vulnerable region in Syria to the outbreak of Covid 19, due to the spread of Iranian elements and officers there, and the continued influx of the so-called Iranian pilgrims to Deir Ezzor, without being subjected to any medical tests.
