Today, Sunday 15-3-2020, officials of the autonomous administration held a meeting in Al-Suwar city north of Deir Ezzor with elders from the eastern and western countrysides of Deir Ezzor, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
The officials of the autonomous administration informed the attendees that the administration intends to demarcate the administrative boundaries of Deir Ezzor, and divide the eastern Euphrates region of Deir Ezzor into three parts: (west, central, east)
The meeting was attended by a large group of elders, sheikhs and people from the region, in addition to officials and figures from the autonomous administration.
It is noteworthy that no official statement has been issued so far to show the meeting outcome and describe precisely the new administrative boundaries proposed by the autonomous administration.
