The Syrian Petroleum Company confirmed the continuation of implementing measures aimed at supporting the people of Deir Ezzor Governorate and improving their living conditions,  simultaneously with its efforts to rehabilitate and develop the oil and gas sector in the governorate.

The company explained that these steps come within the framework of enhancing the participation of local cadres in the process of uplifting the oil sector, as 400 employees were employed within the security sector, in addition to returning 200 employees who were previously dismissed from work, which contributes to providing job opportunities and restoring expertise to production and service sites.

The company also announced the employment of 70 engineers and technicians and 85 workers in a number of work sites and support services, with the aim of supporting operational operations and raising performance efficiency in oil fields and facilities.

In the context of supporting workers, the company granted rewards to a number of cadres working in the oil fields in Deir Ezzor Governorate, in appreciation of their efforts in maintaining continuity of production and achieving operational stability despite the existing challenges.

The company stressed the need to give priority to the people of Deir Ezzor in the job opportunities available to contractors and contractors working in projects related to the oil sector, in a way that enhances the local community’s benefit from development and rehabilitation projects.

The Syrian Petroleum Company confirmed that the people of the governorate constitute an essential partner in the process of rebuilding and developing the oil sector, noting that supporting and empowering them economically and professionally will remain among its priorities during the next stage.
