Over the recent days, yiung men from Deir Ezzor unprecedently joined Russian militias to fight in Libya.
A source told the Deir Ezzor 24 that the Russian forces informed 80 young men that they will transported to Libya on October 22, 2020. The Russian forces transported the young men to the Heimimim base and there they were informed that the flight postponed. After that, Assad regime’ Military Police patrols arrested the young men for compulsory recruitment.
The source emphasized that the Russian forces and Assad regime Military Police planed this trick.
Assad regime’s security branches intensified proecdures of compulsory recruitment in Deir Ezzor. In response, young men of Deir Ezzor sought joining Russian militias to evade Assad regime’s compulsory recruitment.
