The Al-Jerniyah Silos Center in the Raqqa countryside began receiving the wheat crop for the current marketing season, after completing its rehabilitation work in cooperation between the people and the Syrian Grains Corporation, which contributed to returning the center to service and supporting the marketing operations of the crop in the area.
Although one line of work remained out of service, technical workshops were able to secure a replacement line from another silo, enabling the resumption of receiving operations and ensuring efficient operation throughout the season.
Open storage yards were also prepared to receive incoming farmers. As of June 20, 2026, the quantities received amounted to approximately 2,863 tons of wheat without sacks and wheat in sacks.
The center has a capacity of up to 6,000 tons of wheat without sacks, while the capacity to receive wheat in sacks remains open, ensuring the receiving of the entire agricultural season’s production in the area and enhancing efforts to market strategic crops.
