On Tuesday, December 15, 2020, people found two beheaded bodies in the city of al-Bussairah, eastern Deir Ezzor.
The bodies belong to Karoom al-Hameed’s son and al-Mukhtar Kasar’s son. A bomb was placed over the bodies with a note saying,” This is the fate of everyone who collects al-Zakat money in the name of Daesh.”
The incident coincides with the increase of targeting civilians who refuse to pay al-Zakat money to Daesh, especially in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
