A source told Deir Ezzor 24 that Russian forces’ delegations informed new recruits who were registered over the recent days that they should prepare themselves to travel to Libya on October 1, 2020.
The source noted that the second group of recruits’ leave was postponed to October 10, 2020. The Russians did not specify the destination of the second group of recruits.
Over the recent months, Russian forces sent hundreds of young men from Deir Ezzor to fight in Libya with the Moscow-backed Haftar.
