Major Daesh attack on Assad’s forces southern Deir Ezzor results in deaths and withdrawals

Four Members of Assad’s forces were killed today in al-Shoula area in the southern badiyah of Deir Ezzor when Daesh attacked a post of Assad’s forces in the area, a source told Deir Ezzor 24 network.

The source said that a group of Daesh launched an attack on two axes of Al-Shoula and al-Bishri mountain, targeting several posts of Assad’s forces and the militias present there. The attack resulted in the killing of four members in Al-Shoula, and the withdrawal of a post of Assad forces from the vicinity of al-Bishri mountain after being targeted with a 23 caliber machine gun mounted on a pick-up Hilux vehicle.

Daesh is very active in the southern and western badiyah of Deir Ezzor, and launches its attacks from there on Assad’s forces, and supporting and Iranian militias.
