The Omar Bin Al-Khattab Mosque in the city of Al-Bukamal was vandalized and ransacked by members of the 47th Regiment militia of the Revolutionary Guard militia, according to a local reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.
According to our reporter, militia members stole batteries, audio devices, and lighting devices, in addition to electrical tools from the mosque.
He added that a group of residents saw members of the regiment leaving the mosque, carrying the stolen materials in military vehicles belonging to the militia.
It is noteworthy that the Iranian-backed militias worked to change the names of some mosques after the expulsion of Daesh from Deir Ezzor.
