A new wave of indiscriminate Russian air strikes massacred at least seven civilians today after targeting the town of Al-Muhaymidah, Deir Ezzor’s western countryside. This incident occurred in conjunction with Russian warplanes bombing the town of Al-Hussayniyah, causing two civilian casualties..
Cluster bombs were utilized when the warplanes indiscriminately targeted residential buildings in Muhaymida town. A woman and her infant were killed in Russian air strikes on Al-Hussayniyah, whereas a civilian was reported dead following an air strike on Daesh-held neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor.
These wave of Russian air strikes comes in connection with more intense air raids on Al-Huwyaqa neighborhood of Deir Ezzor and the village of Hawayej Bu-Samaa’ in the western countryside.
