Daesh captured on Saturday the towns of Al-Sussah and Baghuz Fawqani following the retreat of SDF from the latter areas.
Sources told D24 that the organization had taken advantage of the sandstorm to launch an attack against SDF, recapturing the towns of Al Sussah and Baghuz Fawqani. The coalition aircraft were also not present during the attack.
The organiztion captured several military vehicles and ammo after the quick retreat of SDF from their positions in the aforesaid areas.
SDF has said that the attack resulted in the killing of 14 SDF fighters and the wounding of some other.
The last strongholds of Daesh in Deir Ezzor area Baghuz Fawqani, Abu Khater, Abu Hasan, Hajin, Ash-Shafah and Al Sussah towns, which have been witnessing clashes for months.
