The General Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater in Al-Hasakah Governorate announced the implementation of a pilot water pumping program, today, Monday, which includes the Tal Tamr area and the town of Al-Tuwaina, as part of testing the network’s readiness and improving the condition of water service in the area.
The company explained that this stage comes within technical procedures aimed at verifying the efficiency of pumping lines and the safety of networks, in preparation for officially bringing water into service, stressing that the current pumping is still within the experimental stage.
The company stressed that the water currently being pumped is not suitable for drinking or cooking, calling on residents not to use it for human consumption in order to preserve public health, until an official announcement is issued confirming its readiness for use.
