Deir Ezzor Governorate called on all occupants or squatters of state-owned lands throughout the governorate to visit the State Property Directorate in the Real Estate Services Building during official working hours, in order to audit their legal status and settle it in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
The governorate explained that the decision includes everyone who occupies state lands in various forms of occupancy, whether legal or illegal, with the necessity of bringing the documents and papers available to them to conduct the necessary reconciliation.
The concerned authorities have set a deadline for review starting on February 22 and continuing until May 22, stressing that failure to adhere to this deadline exposes violators to legal accountability and the necessary administrative and judicial measures against them.
The governorate also stressed that desert lands are considered state property, and it is not permissible to invest in them, seize them, occupy them, or carry out any work or construction in them except in accordance with a fundamental legal. status.
