Three people were killed and four others were injured in an armed fighting between two families in the town of Al-Yarubiyah in Al- Hasakah countryside, according to local sources.
The sources explained that the clash began with a quarrel that quickly developed into the use of firearms, which resulted in the killing of (Manea Sarhan Al-Zubaie, Heikal Al-Shammari, and Suleiman Al-Kurdi) in addition to the injury of four others who were transferred to hospitals in Deir Ezzor Governorate to receive treatment, while some of the injuries were described as serious.
According to preliminary information, the dispute dates back to a dispute over an oil well located near the village of Karhouk in the northern countryside of Al Yarubiyah, before it worsened and turned into an armed clash.
A state of tension prevailed in the town following the incident, amid civil efforts to contain the situation and prevent renewed clashes.
