Yesterday, Thursday, Deir Ezzor Civil Council issued a decision to close the land and river crossings with the Assad’s forces in the west of the Euphrates River in Deir Ezzor countryside.
According to sources for Deir Ezzor 24 network, the closure was based on the requirements of the current circumstances as justified by the Civil Council.
The sources noted that the decision was taken yesterday, and that the SDF will begin to close the crossings completely until further notice.
The decision to close the crossings will affect the oil smugglings from the SDF-held areas to the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor countryside.
It is indicated that the international coalition and the SDF have repeatedly conducted monitorings and closures of the river crossings with the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor province in eastern Syria.
