Late Monday night, 10-9-2019, the Syrian democratic forces sent a military column to Al-Bassirah town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
According to local sources for Deir Ezzor 24 network, the column came from Al-Omar oil field and entered the city to pursue Daesh cells.
The sources noted that the force entered Al-Bassirah from several directions, and that it is not yet known whether the international coalition aircraft will participate in the security campaign or not.
Daesh cells are heavily active in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, and occasionally carry out security operations in the region.
It is indicated that the international coalition has recently intensified its landing operations against Daesh operatives and cells east of Deir Ezzor.
