Daesh threatened the employees of al-Hussein village municipality in the northern Deir Ezzor countryside, according to a statement bearing the group’s stamps, that was circulated on Friday 3-4-2020.
The handwritten statement included a direct threatening from Daesh to the mayor and staff of Al-Hussein village municipality, to leave work with the autonomous administration and the international coalition, or they will be killed by the group.
It is noteworthy that Daesh is active in the areas of Deir Ezzor that are controlled by the international coalition and the Syrian democratic forces, and occasionally carries out criminal acts against the employees and people of the region.
