Daesh attack on Assad forces’ posts southern Deir Ezzor cuts off road to Damascus

A source told Deir Ezzor 24 network that Daesh launched an attack this evening on several posts of Assad’s forces and militias in al-Bishri area southwestern Deir Ezzor.

The source said that Assad forces’ checkpoint in Kabajib town prevented passenger buses from traveling to Damascus because of Daesh attack.

The source confirmed that the Russian artillery on the outskirts of Hamima area fired more than 10 shells towards the “Ibn muyani pond” area.

Daesh is very active in the southern Deir Ezzor badiyah, where it carries out continued attacks on Assad forces and Iranian militias’ posts.
