Assad’s forces are looting the houses belonging to the civilians who fled from Deir Ezzor city, some of whom are sleeping in the open and others are residing in camps for internally displaced families that are facing the total lack of basic needs.
A D24 correspondent in the city said today that, ‘Assad’s forces have begun the looting of civilian properties in the recently captured neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor city.’
He added, ‘ The looting process is being done publicly by the use of huge trucks that are transporting the looted properties to Homs after passing though regime check posts.’
Two days ago, the Assad regime succeeded in gaining control over all neighbourhoods of Deir Ezzor city following clashes that lasted for months.
The central command of Assad’s forces has, somehow, legalized the looting of civilian properties for its manpower as a reward for taking parts in the battles and to motivate them to participate in more battles in other areas.
